Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday reacted to Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's invitation to join the opposition's alliance. The Bihar CM hinted at remaining with the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA. The Bihar CM said that he “made a mistake twice" in the past by joining hands with the RJD, reported News18.

President Lalu Prasad Yadav on Wednesday (Dec 1) said that he was ready to "forgive and welcome" Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to join the opposition INDIA bloc. Yadav said that Nitish should also open the gates as it would facilitate movement from both sides.

In an interaction with media, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar came up with a cryptic response to RJD president Lalu Yadav's offer to return to the INDIA bloc.

This latest round of conjecture began after Lalu Yadav, in a recent interview, expressed willingness to welcome Kumar back.
