Three collegiate women’s volleyball teams have forfeited games against San Jose State University, which has a trans-identifying male, Blaire Fleming, on its roster. The University of Wyoming announced in a statement Tuesday that the women’s team will forfeit its upcoming Saturday game.

Blaire Fleming has played on the women’s volleyball team at SJSU for three years. Prior to her time as a spartan, Fleming played at Coastal Carolina as well. According to reporting by WFIN, several teammates had no idea Fleming was transgender.
