The U.S. Open did not go as planned for many athletes, but one PGA Tour golfer's injury is going to keep him from playing the final round. Despite the brutal difficulty of Oakmont, golfers have remained in the field throughout the tournament.

Zach Bauchou became the first golfer to withdraw from the U.S. Open. Bauchou had just one hole left to play after the suspension of the second round, but decided he didn't need to come back to finish his round.

Corey Conners withdrew from the U.S. Open shortly before Sunday's final round because of a right wrist injury.
