He was initially listed as questionable before getting upgraded to available for the contest.

The Knicks are looking to pick up their 10th win on Saturday night. The Magic are in the same boat. The two teams will tip off at 5 PM ET down in Florida. Brunson is set for his 13th game this season. This year, he’s posting averages of 28.0 points, 6.4 assists, and 3.5 rebounds.

Getting Brunson back is big news for the Knicks as they look to stay near the top of the Eastern Conference standings. Prior to getting injured, the 29-year-old was playing at an All-NBA level. Across his first 11 appearances, Brunson averaged 28 points, 3.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists.

On Wednesday, Jalen Brunson needed crutches and a walking boot to leave. By Monday? The Knicks’ All-Star point guard was already back on the floor, firing up jumpers during his pregame routine at Kaseya Center.

Part of the worry with Brunson is that he hurt the same ankle late last season. He was initially expected to miss two weeks back then but ended up being unavailable for 15 games before returning for the playoffs. The Knicks went 9-6 while he was out.
