Struggling Jeep and Ram maker Stellantis is looking for a CEO to succeed Carlos Tavares, but the company says it’s just part of a normal leadership succession plan.

Chrysler and Jeep parent Stellantis is potentially facing a fresh strike as United Auto Workers (UAW) President Shawn Fain said the union plans to hold a vote authorizing a walkout after the automaker allegedly abandoned contract commitments it made during a labor deal struck last year.

The union, which won a major contract victory last year, has criticized the company for cutting jobs and delaying plans at an Illinois factory.
