Justin Fields, the New York Jets' new quarterback​, got hurt while practicing Thursday morning, suffering an apparent lower leg injury.

Justin Fields had an excellent practice, moving around well in and out of the pocket while showing strong chemistry with Garrett Wilson and Mason Taylor at different points on a run of 12 straight completions. The defense got some pressure on Fields, but was a little lax in coverage, with receivers consistently open.
