Extending things to a sixth game, the Detroit Pistons have more than held their own against the New York Knicks. Prior to the action resuming on Thursday night, Jalen Brunson touched on staying in the right frame of mind in such a crucial matchup.

To make matters worse in the 106-103 Game 5 loss, New York saw Jalen Brunson -- the Clutch Player of the Year and their superstar -- suffer an ankle injury. He landed awkwardly and tweaked his ankle, with the floor panel seemingly bending inward.

Brunson could not re-enter for the stretch run, when he so often thrives. It cost the Knicks the opportunity to close out this series, which shifts to Detroit for Game 6.
