The Lionesses' post-Euro 2025 victory party continued on Tuesday with an open-top bus parade through central London. The parade, attended by tens of thousands of fans, took them along The Mall before a ceremony at the Queen Victoria Memorial in front of Buckingham Palace.

The Lionesses are heading back home to celebrate. England successfully defended its Women’s European Championship title by beating world champion Spain in a shootout in the final in Basel, Switzerland on Sunday.

Unsurprisingly, England’s triumph at Euro 2025 has catapulted some of their stars into contention for this year’s BBC Sports Personality of the Year award. Beth Mead won the prize in 2022, as did Mary Earps the following year.
