A Powerball ticket was sold for Wednesday’s lottery drawing at a convenience store in Cumberland County. The winner bought the third-prize ticket at Quick Plus Mini Mart on East Commerce Street in Bridgeton, lottery officials said. The ticket matched four numbers plus the Powerball.

A man is crediting a surprise run-in with his grandma at an Illinois convenience store as the reason he ended up winning a $1 million Powerball prize.

The Wednesday, Dec. 3 Powerball drawing is $775 million with a cash option of $362.5 million. It is the seventh largest Powerball ever.
