Another round of lake effect snow that will be potentially very heavy near Lake Michigan prompted winter weather watches and advisories in Chicago and Northwest Indiana.

A Winter Storm Warning was issued for a portion of Cook County until midnight and Lake and Porter counties in Indiana until 6 p.m. Saturday. While the warning has since been dropped for Cook County, it remains in effect for Lake and Porter County,
