A deadly shooting is under investigation at a home in SW Oklahoma City on Saturday, authorities confirm. Authorities said one person was shot and killed at a home near SW 44th Street and Quartz Ridge Drive. A homicide investigation is underway. According to police, a body was found in southwest Oklahoma City Friday morning. Officials say officers responded to the area of SW 14th St. and Agnew Ave. sometime around 7 a.m. It is unclear how the person died as the investigation continues.

An apartment fire in NW Oklahoma City overnight is under investigation, firefighters say. The Oklahoma City Fire Department responded to the Quail Ridge Apartments near May and Memorial around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday. Firefighters said they saw smoke coming from the first and second-floor apartments. They were able to quickly put it out.
