Brown wasn't even here for Family Night last year. The 2024 undrafted free agent was in training camp with the Broncos and did not get to Green Bay until after final roster cuts to sign to the practice squad. He got his first taste of real NFL game action late last season, when he was elevated for the final three regular-season games.

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur stated in his pre-practice press conference that he won’t be calling plays this preseason. This has been a trend over his years in Green Bay, as he’s used the preseason as a play-calling showcase for the offensive assistants under him who are hoping to get play-calling opportunities elsewhere.

Jayden Reed acknowledges that the Green Bay Packers receivers didn’t perform quite the way they wanted last season. That left them plenty motivated to take a step forward this season, even before the front office selected two more receivers in the first three rounds of the draft.
