Astro Bot just graced our PS5s on September 6, but PlayStation announced that 10 new bots will be coming to the game for free.

Even better, the game's upcoming DLC is free--and it's almost here, though oddly, no specific release date was included in the trailer. The trailer simply confirmed that the free expansion will arrive sometime in Fall 2024. Given the fact that we're almost in the midst of fall, it sounds like the launch date may be relatively soon.

During today’s State of Play, Sony confirmed that Astro Bot’s previously announced free DLC will be arriving later this fall. The DLC will add new bots, including characters from Helldivers and Stellar Blade,

If the mode is similar to its predecessor in Astro’s Playroom, players will be able to see their friends times every time they complete a map. There may even be new trophies for players to unlock, but that isn’t confirmed at the time of writing.

Even though it only launched at the beginning of September, a new trailer for Astro Bot at the September 2024 State of Play has confirmed that the game will receive a piece of free DLC sometime during Fall 2024.

Sony and Team Asobi have given us our first peek at Astro Bot's upcoming - and free - DLC add on. This DLC will include five new online speedrunning levels, as well as 10 new bots to rescue. Which bots,
