PowerGrid, Axis Bank, NTPC, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance and Tata Steel were the top Sensex gainers, rising up to 3.91%.

Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex ended the previous trade session flat after hitting fresh record highs. Nifty 50 ended at 25,940.40, while Sensex ended at 84,914.04. Overnight, Wall Street indices Dow Jones and S&P 500 continued to post record highs.
