The Toyota GR GT is TGR's new flagship sports car developed as a "road-legal race car that further advances TGR's philosophy of making ever-better motorsport-bred cars," while the GR GT3 is the FIA GT3-spec race car based on the GR GT road car but, as Toyota says, "engineered for all customers who want to win races."

The outfit, founded by Kazumichi Goh and best known for winning the Le Mans 24 Hours in 2004, is being relaunched after falling dormant since it last contested the Japanese single-seater series in 2022 with a pair of Honda-powered cars.

The GR GT3 is out of the bag, and it’s poised to go head-to-head against the best GT racing competition in some of the sport’s biggest events.
