Mail-in ballots sent to Virginia Beach residents in districts 3, 4, and 7 were printed with candidates in the incorrect order and sent to more than 7,000 residents, the city said in a press release.

An error in printing occurred in several Virginia Beach districts for mail-in ballots in upcoming local elections, according to the city.

Incorrect mail-in ballots have been mailed out to about 7,400 homes in Virginia Beach. The Voter Registrar's Office was notified of a printing error on the mail-in ballots. The State notified the Voter Registrar’s Office they can re-print mail-in ballots.
