LOUISIANA (KMDL-FM) - As we get into 2026, a major announcement has been made bringing big changes to the streaming world. Disney has confirmed that the standalone Hulu app will be shut down in 2026, with all Hulu shows, movies, and live TV content becoming fully integrated into the Disney+ platform.

The Burbank entertainment giant is making progress on its plan to fold Hulu content into the Disney+ platform sometime next year.

Hulu and all its content have been fully integrated into the Disney+ app, and the stand‑alone Hulu app will become unavailable sometime in 2026. This means that Hulu shows and movies will be available on Disney+, but you will no longer be able to watch them on the Hulu app.
