ATLANTA — Georgia and much of the Southeast are bracing for a winter storm that is expected to hit on Saturday, bringing substantial and disruptive freezing rain and ice accumulation.
Monday morning: Dry with ice on the roads due to re-freezing of Sunday’s rain. Wind chills will be in the single digits for most of north Georgia. A cold weather advisory is in effect from 4 AM until 10 AM for wind chills 0 - 15 degrees.
