Fabric and craft retailer Joann is closing hundreds of stores after declaring bankruptcy, including four in the Houston area. Joann filed a motion in bankruptcy court to close more than 500 of its 800 stores in the U.

Joann is now set to close more than half of its locations across the United States after its second bankruptcy filing. Will Texas stores be affected?

Hudson, Ohio-based Joann Inc., which is in the midst of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization, plans to close nearly two-thirds of its 800 stores, according to documents filed with the court Feb. 12.
