In the midst of all the transfer portal departures over the past few days, Iowa football looks like it got some good news in the secondary.

IOWA CITY — North Dakota State transfer kicker Eli Ozick has committed to Iowa football, he announced Jan. 4. Ozick was 19-of-23 on field goals and 66-of-67 on extra points in his career with the Bison. He also attempted 257 kickoffs. Ozick will come to the Hawkeyes with two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Bennett Stirtz scored 27 points and No. 25 Iowa held off a second-half comeback attempt by UCLA for a 74-61 win.

The dust is far from settling with the transfer portal, but what do the Hawkeyes' early departures mean moving forward?

Starting Monday, temperatures will begin to rebound into the upper 60’s to low 70’s. There may be some patchy fog and low clouds around in the morning with skies becoming partly cloudy later in the day.
