The Documentary+ streaming platform has been acquired by FAST channel operator acTVe, which plans to turn it into "the Netflix of documentaries."

Netflix releases Martin Short documentary, Marty, Life is Short, in May 2026. Directed by Lawrence Kasdan, produced by Imagine Documentaries' Brian Grazer and Ron Howard. Covers Short's comedy, stage, and TV career, including Only Murders in the Building.
