Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Peter Dinklage will star in Dexter: Resurrection alongside Michael C. Hall and Uma Thurman. Dinklage, 55, is perhaps best known for starring in HBO's Game of Thrones. His portrayal of Tyrion Lannister earned him four Emmys and a Golden Globe. In Dexter: Resurrection, he will portray the wealthy investor Leon.

Dinklage, who is best known for his roles in “Game of Thrones” and “Avengers: Infinity War,” will join the “Dexter” follow-up as a series regular, joining cast members Michael C. Hall, Uma Thurman, David Zayas, James Remar and Jack Alcott.

Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones, Avengers: Infinity War) has officially joined the series regular cast of the Showtime Original Series Dexter: Resurrection, from executive producer and showrunner Clyde Phillips.

“Resurrection” is the latest attempt to expand the “Dexter” world. Along with “New Blood,” Paramount recently launched the prequel series “Dexter: Original Sin” with Patrick Gibson in the lead role and with Hall providing voiceover narration.
