Back-to-back winter storms hit the East this weekend with arctic blast behind them next week
Two winter storms will move through the East this weekend, with cold air coming right behind it in an arctic blast forecast for next week.
A blast of winter weather has brought snowfall and subfreezing wind chills across the Midwest and East Coast as well as near-freezing temperatures in parts of the South, including Florida.
At 1:29 a.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory valid between 3 a.m. and 3 p.m. for Lebanon County.
The time to prep for a power outage is before the storm hits. It gets cold and dark when the power goes out. It’s a great idea to keep a few LED flashlights or battery-powered lanterns in easy-to-find spots around your home. Lots of people will light candles during a blackout, but those are serious fire hazards.
