The addition of Ugonna Onyenso to the rotation is starting to pay dividends. Jerome Tang barely used the 7-foot Kentucky transfer at the beginning of Big 12 play, but his playing time is now on the rise. He played 13 minutes against the Bears and only contributed two rebounds.

Their overall road losing streak grew to 14 Saturday with an 84-74 loss at Kansas. Baylor (11-6, 3-3) has dropped two straight games, most recently a 74-71 decision Sunday at home to TCU.

Both Baylor and K-State rank outside the top 300 nationally when it comes to 3-point defense. That means the Wildcats could break out of their recent shooting slump if Brendan Hausen or Max Jones have strong games from the perimeter. The Bears and their roster of quality shooters may also benefit.
