New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner showered praise on Michael Bracewell for adjusting to flat tracks after the spinner bagged four wickets in their comprehensive Champions Trophy win over Bangladesh on Monday.

New Zealand sealed a semifinal spot in the Champions Trophy after cruising past Bangladesh by five wickets on the back of Rachin Ravindra’s century in Rawalpindi on Monday. The victory with nearly four overs to spare also advanced India to the semifinals and eliminated tournament host and defending champion Pakistan and Bangladesh from contention.

New Zealand spinner Michael Bracewell returned career-best ODI figures of 4-26 to help restrict Bangladesh to 236-9 in a key Group A Champions Trophy clash in Rawalpindi on Monday. A win for New Zealand would send them into the semi-finals and also knock Bangladesh and hosts Pakistan out in the group phase of the 50-over tournament.

India and Pakistan are set to face off in the Champions Trophy 2025. India won their first match against Bangladesh while Pakistan lost to New Zealand.

Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan has won the coin toss and opted to bat first against India in their Group A game at the 2025 Champions Trophy.

India beat Pakistan by six wickets in a Group A match of the Champions Trophy at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. Electing to bat, Pakistan made 241 before being all out with two deliveries left in their stop-start innings.
