Lubia Estevez and Forest Whitlock, both women in their 60s, died Monday night when they were traveling during an intense storm and their car ended up in a ditch before being washed away. Their families are now sharing the kind of people they were.
The Central Jersey communities most impacted by July 14’s flash floods are rallying to support victims of the devastation.
As of the morning of July 15, parts of Middlesex and Somerset counties were still under a flood warning, with the National Weather Service advising residents of continued flooding as numerous roads remained closed.
