After making a spalsh in the NFL Draft by selecting Ty Simpson No. 13 overall with their first pick of the weekend, the Los Angeles Rams are ready to look ahead to the 2026 season. And there's plenty to pay attention to with a stacked schedule this fall.
The Los Angeles Rams have completed two days of the 2026 NFL Draft, walking away with three picks so far. As the NFL's annual selection process draws to a close on Saturday, the Rams still have four picks. Here's one final mock for 2026, with the team making bold choices to cap off a wild weekend.
The Rams, being the trade-heavy team that they are, interestingly traded the pick they acquired back to Tennessee. Needing cornerback depth midseason, Los Angeles sent Tennessee’s fifth-round pick back in exchange for Roger McCreary and a sixth-round pick.
With their first two selections, the Rams drafted a backup QB in Ty Simpson and Max Klare, who joins an already-crowded tight end room.
The Los Angeles Rams felt that they needed a boost up front and used the draft to address the need, selecting Missouri's Keagan Trost with their third-round selection. Trost, a first-team All-American in 2025, was a force for the Tigers last season, rounding out a collegiate career that began in 2019.
