A Campbell man was taken into police custody in connection with a pair of reported attacks near Leigh Avenue early Wednesday.

Police in San Jose arrested a man Thursday suspected in two sexual assaults that took place along the Los Gatos Creek Trail a day earlier.

The incidents happened on the Los Gatos Creek Trail near Leigh Avenue, the San Jose Police Department said in a social media post. The suspect was described as a Latino man in his 30s with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with distinct green writing and blue jeans.
