The Lynx have a league-best 24-5 record and are now entering a crucial stretch of the season without the reigning WNBA Defensive Player of the Year and MVP favorite.

Collier, the 2024 WNBA Defensive Player of the Year and a leading contender for this season's MVP, underwent an MRI that confirmed a sprain but ruled out any serious damage, the Lynx said in a team statement.
