A Colorado jury on Monday found Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa guilty on all counts in the March 2021 mass shooting at a King Soopers supermarket in Boulder County that killed 10 people.

Ahmad Alissa was convicted on charges that included 10 counts of first-degree murder and 38 counts of attempted murder.

BOULDER, Colo. — A mentally ill man who killed 10 people at a Colorado supermarket was convicted Monday of murder by a jury that rejected his attempt to avoid prison time by pleading not guilty by reason of insanity.

Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa was convicted by a jury of 10 counts of murder at a Colorado supermarket. His defense team had argued he was mentally ill.

Tyler Quirion, 20, pleaded not guilty Monday in connection with the killing of Justin Iraola on Feb. 19 in Waterville.
