Nottingham Forest are closing in on a deal to sign 27-year-old Brazil midfielder Douglas Luiz from Juventus, who could make a move for Forest and Ivory Coast midfielder Ibrahim Sangare, 27. (Gazzetta dello Sport - in Italian)

The midfielder joined the Turin club last summer in a €50million (£42.3m; $53.6m) plus add-ons move from Aston Villa.

According to Tuttosport, Forest have settled on Luiz being their primary target to strengthen the engine room and are pushing to seal a deal. The report suggests that agent Kia Joorabchian has already led discussions between the relevant parties in an effort to finalise a transfer.
