Hostages freed after a day-long ordeal following an attack by militants on a train in Pakistan's Balochistan province described crouching on the floor for hours before their release, as the bodies of 25 people killed arrived in Quetta.

India on Friday trashed Pakistan’s allegations of backing terrorism against that country following the Balochistan train attack and said Islamabad should look inwards before shifting the blame on others for its “failures”.

The separatist Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for attacking the train carrying 440 passengers in a tunnel in a remote part of Balochistan. Spokesman Jeeyand Baloch had said the group was ready to free passengers if authorities agree to release jailed militants.

India strongly rejected the unfounded allegations made by Pakistan in the wake of the BLA group's attack on the Jaffar Express train. The Indian government told Pakistan that the world knows where the true "epicentre of global terrorism" lies,

India has rebuffed Pakistan's claims of supporting terrorism, urging them to introspect. Pakistan accused India post a Balochistan train attack, but Afghanistan also rejected blame.
