Mayor Cherelle Parker shared a glimpse about priorities for her second year in office at a Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia event.

Mayor Cherelle Parker on Wednesday addressed the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia’s annual Mayoral Luncheon and tipped her hand on plans to fulfill a campaign pledge to create 30,000 new units of housing.

The mayor told the Chamber of Commerce she will announce “a significant city financial commitment” for housing and propose legislation aimed at “easing the production of new housing."
