The United States Golf Association has maintained a $21.5 million purse for the 2025 U.S. Open as it is being hosted by Oakmont Country Club for a record 10th playing of the national championship. One year ago,

Defending U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau will not see the weekend at Oakmont, but several of his LIV Golf comrades will.

Adam Scott is making his presence felt at the 2025 US Open, entering the third round as the most consistent player in the entire field at Oakmont Country Club.

The second round of the U.S. Open will resumed on June 14 at 7:30 a.m., with 13 players returning to finish either one or two holes.

Some say the pain is the point at the U.S. Open. But at Oakmont, something different bubbled to the surface in two very different forms.

J.J. Spaun, Viktor Hovland and Ben Griffin might not have been on anyone's short list of contenders for Oakmont but Farrell Evans sees their chance for glory.
