WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — Three people, including an 8-month-old infant, were fatally shot at a Utah carnival after two groups got into an argument, police said. Police officers working at WestFest at Centennial Park in West Valley City saw the two groups Sunday night.
Five people were shot, three fatally, at the festival in Utah's West Valley City after an altercation broke out between two groups of people.
An 18-year-old boy involved in the fight was also shot and killer, police said — while a pregnant woman was injured trying to climb a fence to escape the gunfire. Two teens — a 17-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy — were also struck in the arm.
