Flood alerts remain in place across Scotland following a spell of heavy rain from the west on Monday. The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (Sepa) has eight alerts in place that cover much of the country.
Multiple weather warnings remain in place on Wednesday as much of the UK continues to feel the effects of Storm Bram. Three yellow weather warnings for wind are active until Wednesday evening covering the Shetland Islands, Central, Tayside & Fife, Grampian, and further south in Scotland, including Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Flood alerts have been issued for large parts of Scotland as heavy rain moves in from the west on Monday. South-west Scotland has already seen heavy rain on Sunday night, with the downpour expected to continue on Monday. Drivers have been warned that conditions may be difficult and journeys could take longer than expected.

There were 39 flood warnings in place in England, 12 in Wales and 24 in Scotland on Tuesday morning. Flights and trains have been cancelled and hundreds of properties left without power due to Storm Bram. Heavy rainfall and strong winds are expected to cause disruption across parts of the UK on Tuesday and into Wednesday morning.
