Watch: Flooding in York on Tuesday and major motorway disruptions as Storm Bram hits Yorkshire
There were 39 flood warnings in place in England, 12 in Wales and 24 in Scotland on Tuesday morning. Flights and trains have been cancelled and hundreds of properties left without power due to Storm Bram. Heavy rainfall and strong winds are expected to cause disruption across parts of the UK on Tuesday and into Wednesday morning.
Flood warnings have been issued in parts of East Yorkshire after fire crews pumped water away from properties. Further flooding is expected along the Holderness Drain in Leven and at Wawne Common and Woody Carr, according to the Environment Agency.
In addition, one flood warning is in place for Yorkshire due to the heavy rainfall. Meanwhile, the Met Office has said: "Heavy rain will continue to move eastwards with clear spells and showers following in behind. Showers can be locally heavy with hail and thunder in the southwest. Windy, particularly along coasts."
