The Oklahoma City Thunder fell to the Indiana Pacers Friday night.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Andrew Nembhard had 27 points and 11 rebounds, and Jarace Walker added a career-high 26 for the Indiana Pacers, who withstood a late rally to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 117-114 on Friday night in a rematch of last season's NBA Finals.

OKLAHOMA CITY — Despite Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scoring 47 points amidst an 18-point comeback, coach Mark Daigneault and the defending champions came up short in its Finals rematch against the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers defeated the Thunder 117-114 at the Paycom Center.

Amid a tough season for the reigning Eastern Conference champions, the Indiana Pacers showed some fight in earning a road win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night, 117-114. The victory was just Indiana's third on the road this season.

Despite entering the game tied for the fewest wins in the league, the Pacers pulled off a stunning 117–114 victory over the Thunder.

Circumstances have changed a bit for the Pacers since June 22. Star guard Tyrese Haliburton, who suffered an Achilles injury in the first half of Game 7, has yet to play this season while Indiana has limped to a 10-35 record. Meanwhile, the Thunder (37-8) still sits atop the NBA standings, even with a wave of injuries.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander put the Thunder on his back yet again dropping a 47 piece against the Pacers, fans are now calling for MVP.

Nembhard led the way with 27 points and 11 rebounds, setting the tone early and steadying the Pacers when the Thunder surge came late. Walker delivered the best game of his young career, scoring a career-high 26 points and calmly knocking down four clutch free throws in the final 10 seconds to seal it.
