On Tuesday at 4:14 p.m. a winter storm warning was released by the National Weather Service valid from 10 p.m. until Friday Dec. 26, at 10 a.m. for the Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

On Tuesday at 9:50 a.m. the National Weather Service released an updated winter weather advisory in effect until 4 p.m. for Passaic County.

At 8:46 a.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning in effect until 4 p.m. for Northern Wayne and Susquehanna County.

An updated winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 6:29 p.m. valid from Tuesday 10 p.m. until Friday Dec. 26, at 10 a.m. for the Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

Gov. Janet Mills will close all Maine state offices Dec. 24 as a winter storm brings hazardous travel and “extremely dangerous” conditions to much of the state.

The National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory at 3:30 p.m. on Monday valid for Tuesday between 1 a.m. and 4 p.m. for Wyoming, Lackawanna and Luzerne counties.

Several days of rain and powerful wind gusts are in the forecast this week when a winter storm has already led to evacuation warnings in parts of Los Angeles County settles into Southern California for the holiday.
