According to Croation media outlet Net.hr and USA Today, the Croatian city of Split could become the nation’s first to prohibit the sale of alcohol in shops and liquor stores from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The coastal Croatian city of Split will ban the sale of alcohol in some establishments starting this summer.
Tourists visiting one particularly popular spot in Croatia could find themselves impacted by a proposed alcohol ban.
The city is the first in the country to impose a ban in a direct response to "unacceptable" scenes by intoxicated visitors.
