Miami Heat star Tyler Herro discussed how he managed the team’s offense following Jimmy Butler’s trade in the NBA. The Miami Heat have endured an up-and-down NBA season, and their latest setback came in a 114-109 loss to the Chicago Bulls.

“Just embracing it,” Herro, 25, said of the challenge that comes with carrying that responsibility on the offensive end. “The challenge I would say is just toggling back and forth with trying to make plays for myself and make plays for my teammates.”

Ever since the Miami Heat traded Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors, there is no doubt that Tyler Herro was tasked as the No. 1 scoring option on the team. After the Heat's loss to the Chicago Bulls, he spoke about his new role on the team and how he's had to adapt to opposing defenses.

With the team already severely shorthanded, the Heat announced shortly before Wednesday night’s nationally televised game vs. Cavs that Herro also would be out.
