NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported Friday that quarterback Jacoby Brissett is not in attendance for the Cardinals' offseason program, which began April 1. He wants a contract extension that pays him like a starter. He wants a multi-year deal.

The Cardinals signed Gardner Minshew last month, adding a second bridge quarterback after signing Jacoby Brissett in 2025. Brissett worked as Arizona’s primary starter last season, with Kyler Murray shut down with a foot injury.
Arizona's only QBs right now are Brissett, Gardner Minshew II and Kedon Slovis, but the team is speculated to be in the running to draft Ty Simpson.
