At 10 a.m., firefighters could be seen still working at the home. Bridgeport Fire Department trucks and first responders crowded Grand Street as firefighters worked on the hot spots, according to Bridgeport Director of Public Information Tiadora Josef. The blaze had been a two-alarm fire, Josef said.

Seven people were displaced by a two-alarm fire Wednesday morning in Bridgeport, according to city officials. Firefighters responded to the scene around 8:45 a.m. in the 600 block of Grand Street. Crews saw heavy fire and smoke coming from the three-story home.
