The NCAA transfer portal has been flooded with over 2,000 names despite the season not being over yet. Some college football programs have been making moves left and right, while others have taken a more calculated approach to building up their roster.

Some of it may be overboard, dancing on the grave of a not-dead patient by SEC haters who finally see their chance. Some of it is a chance to vent back at the loud pro-SEC voices, at ESPN and elsewhere. And a lot of this may be premature. New arrival Texas could still bring the SEC its sixth national title in eight years.

“I think one of the most important things that we can do is, let’s get a commissioner of college football that is waking up every single morning and going to bed every single night, making decisions that’s in the best interest of college football,” Penn State head coach James Franklin told The Associated Press.
