Jared Verse fueled the outrage of Philadelphia Eagles fans with his comments toward them prior to Sunday's divisional round game against the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams pass rusher embraced what he said and had some fun with the fans at Lincoln Financial Field before and during Sunday's loss to the Eagles.

Eagles faithful got the last laugh in their feud with Rams rookie edge rusher Jared Verse, who called out an entire fanbase before Los Angeles’ Divisional Round loss on Sunday.

Jared Verse notched two sacks on Sunday, but the Rams standout was booed not for his play but his words after ripping Eagles fans.

Jared Verse is an outspoken player despite only being a rookie. Whether he’s talking trash to opponents on the field, to teammates in practice or to fans before a playoff game, he’s always going to bring the energy and say how he feels.

It is completely unremarkable that someone who grew up in Berwick like Verse did wouldn’t like or would feel no connection to the Eagles.

Last year, the Los Angeles Rams had a first round pick for the first time since 2016 and the front office nailed it in taking pass rusher Jared Verse. He is the favorite to win NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year,

Eagles fans responded accordingly. The storyline carried over into the second quarter, with Eagles running back Saquon Barkley getting in on the action. Barkley, a former New York Giant, had previously questioned the wisdom of Verse's taunt.

Former Florida State defensive end and Los Angeles Rams edge Jared Verse received some blowback from the city of Philadelphia, after sharing his thoughts regarding Eagles fans. However, Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter said after the game that his comments were used as motivation for the Birds as they got the last laugh.
