Iran's top diplomat headed to Pakistan as Tehran's standoff with the U.S. over the Strait of Hormuz continues and Hezbollah "firmly rejects" the Lebanon ceasefire.

Israel and Lebanon extended their ceasefire for three weeks at a meeting at the White House brokered by US President Donald Trump, who said he was prepared to wait for "the best deal" to ⁠end his conflict with Iran.

President Trump said the cease-fire between Israel and Lebanon will be extended by three weeks. The U.S. “is going to work with Lebanon in order to help it protect itself from Hezbollah,” he said. “The Ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon will be extended by THREE WEEKS,

Meanwhile, Donald Trump says the US has "total control" over the Strait of Hormuz - and says they will "shoot and kill" any boat laying mines there.
