Rivian Automotive is recalling 34,824 electric delivery vehicles in the U.S. as their seat belt system may fail to properly restrain the driver, increasing the risk of injury during a crash, the EV maker said in a filing with the U.

Anyone in possession of the items should return them to any Walmart store for a full refund and discontinue use.

Rivian Automotive plans to recall 34,824 U.S. vehicles due to a damaged seat belt pretension cable that may fail to properly restrain the driver's seat belt, increasing crash injury risk, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Wednesday.
