As anguished families wait for the return of their loved ones’ remains, tensions are mounting over the slow pace of DNA identification following the deadly Air India crash. More than three days on, only a fraction of the victims have been identified,

An Air India flight returned to Hong Kong on Monday shortly after takeoff due to a midair technical issue, days after another of the airline’s flights crashed and killed at least 270 people.

Officials have also been trying to establish how many people were killed on the ground and have been continuing the slow process of matching DNA samples to confirm the victims' identities.
