Borussia Dortmund reached the Champions League quarterfinals by beating Lille 2-1, overcoming an early deficit Wednesday to set up a final-eight matchup against Barcelona.

Borussia Dortmund reached the Champions League quarterfinals by beating Lille 2-1, overcoming an early deficit Wednesday to set up a final-eight matchup against Barcelona.Last season’s runner-up advanced 3-2 on aggregate after last week’s 1-1 draw in the round-of-16 first leg in Germany.

Lille will be aiming to reach the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time ever, as they host last year's runners-up Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of this last Round of 16 clash.  The French Ligue 1 team fought back to earn a 1-1 draw at Signal Iduna Park in last Tuesday's first leg with Hákon Arnar Haraldsson's second half strike cancelling out Karim Adeyemi's earlier goal.

Borussia Dortmund recovered from losing an early goal to fight back and beat Lille 2-1 in France in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Wednesday, sealing a 3-2 aggregate victory and a place in the quarter-finals.
