The NBA announced a major schedule change for the Oklahoma City Thunder ’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday Feb. 5. That matchup will now be shown at 9:30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on ESPN. It replaces the regular scheduled game between the Denver Nuggets and New Orleans Pelicans that was originally supposed to be shown on ESPN.

That was proven again when ESPN's Tim MacMahon reported that the Thunder were interested in the Phoenix Suns ' 2031 unprotected first-round pick. Instead, the valuable draft asset went to the Utah Jazz in exchange for three first-round picks.

With a commanding lead in the Western Conference, it seems that the Oklahoma City Thunder are prepared for a finals run.
